“My 10 year old son was struggling with writing. In December, it would take him 2 hours of agony to complete one paragraph. We signed him up with A.C.T. in January. He had to take the FCAT writing test the week of Feb. 16th, so we didn’t have much time. The writing test consists of a 5 paragraph essay in 45 minutes. Well, by Feb. he was able to write a 5 paragraph essay in 45 minutes – with no hassle. He took the test and even had time to proof read it. His self-esteem has gone way up. He actually likes school now and homework is not the drudgery it used to be. Also, his grades have gone up in all of his subjects. The C grades actually came up to A’s. It has truly been a pleasure working with A.C.T. They take the time to see exactly what the student is having trouble with and structure a program to work their strength and needs.”
